This annual conference assists HR professionals to stay on top of the forever changing employment law at the state level. We provide the latest trends and changes in employment law with the focus of our efforts towards advocacy. As an advocate for the HR community, it is important that we keep our elected officials informed on how public policy issues can affect employees, employers, and the HR profession as a whole. In times of need, there will be information disseminated to Illinois members calling for action; asking members to contact their legislators to inform them of our opposition or support of specific legislation. However, it is imperative that we begin to build relationships with our state legislators now so when the time comes our voice will be heard.
